About our role
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Chemical Operations Specialist. This is a 12 month contract position working on a four-shift cycle supporting a 24/7 manufacturing organisation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the operation of an API plant, with strong knowledge of chemical processes and equipment. They will be responsible for handling chemicals, preparing and monitoring equipment, and ensuring plant operations are executed in a safe manner and to expected standards.
- Key responsibilities include handling chemicals, preparation and monitoring of equipment, ensuring plant operations meet safety and quality standards.
- A relevant qualification in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or previous experience (4+ years) working within the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
