Electrical Engineer Work Placement Opportunity

We are seeking talented students with a passion for electrical engineering to join our team as part of a work placement opportunity.

  • This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, working alongside skilled professionals as part of multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • You will be responsible for designing and calculating electrical services, including distribution, cabling, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire detection and alarm systems, ICT, security, and earthing systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To prepare coordinated 3D design models using Revit and Navisworks in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.
  • To learn and utilize design software such as Revit, Amtech, Dialux, and Elevate.
  • Implement QA procedures for deliverables and ensure Health and Safety compliance.
  • To collaborate effectively with staff from other disciplines and communicate within a team environment.

About the Role:

  • This is an excellent opportunity for students currently studying Electrical Engineering or Electrical Services Engineering at bachelor's or master's level.
