Job Overview

The Project Management Lead role is a key position responsible for managing large-scale commercial projects. As a member of the project team, you will oversee on-site teams, ensuring smooth project execution and timely completion.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee on-site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Evaluate projects against tender specifications and timelines, addressing any delays promptly.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to minimize project variations.
  • Achieve multiple project completions on time, meeting safety standards.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to review project progress.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for seamless project execution.
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance against legal and project requirements.
  • Communicate site-based changes to engineering and commercial teams within a week.
  • Manage delays and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and motivate the team, addressing performance issues according to company policies.
  • Promote corporate initiatives and maintain a positive image.
  • Ensure SHEQ briefings are communicated and documented.
  • Conduct on-site inductions and collaborate with the SHEQ department.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a relevant qualification in construction management or have at least five years of experience in construction management.
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver high-quality projects with safe and efficient construction practices.
  • Show a solid understanding of the Irish construction industry, including regulations and standards.
  • Achieve project deadlines and KPIs.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills.
  • Work independently with self-drive and capability.
