Job Description:

The primary role of the Equipment Maintenance Specialist is to maintain and repair a variety of equipment including diesel engines, heavy trucks, workover rigs, pumping equipment, lifting equipment, and other rig and drill-out oilfield related equipment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance and inspections required by Axis and customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; certification from trade or technical school in maintenance or Diesel repair highly preferred
- Five (5) years or more solid and proven work experience on oil field equipment or similar field with diesel engines and hydraulics

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks at once. The ability to work as a team when working around the shop and field crews and assist other maintenance employees is essential. The job will be performed in the shop or in the field on rig and services equipment depending on work assignment.
