The Professional Practices Group (PPG) within our Audit Services Department is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing the audit methodology practices and driving the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP).
This includes developing and implementing audit training programs to ensure global consistency and excellence.
This role will functionally report to the QA and Training Audit Director.
A key aspect of this position is delivering high-quality technical training in audit, soft skills, and other related topics to global audiences with differing levels of experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in our firm's audit methodology.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, delivering, managing, and reviewing technical training courses
Creating training curriculum, learning materials, and case studies for various formats of training
Evaluating the effectiveness of training through quality assurance reviews or other mechanisms
Continually updating the training program to reflect the latest technical updates, quality assurance reviews, and regulatory findings
Liaising with the corporate training team to align the training program with the corporate strategy
Managing and updating the Audit Services Learning and Development Centre
Supporting the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and risk-focused assurance work through execution of quality assurance reviews
Assisting in strategic initiatives for the team, including automation projects
Requirements:
Confidence and capability as a presenter, with a positive reaction to challenges
A passion for delivering training topics on audit and soft skills, with a desire for continual learning and development
Qualified ACA or CPA, CIA with an interest in technical and training matters
Previous experience designing, delivering, and facilitating training sessions is preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
A high level of attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team, using own initiative
