We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team on the construction of a new large-scale Med-tech manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of mechanical systems in a life science construction project. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems meet the requirements of life science facilities. The ideal candidate will also ensure that works are carried out to a high standard, maintain quality control, and adhere to safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in life science or healthcare construction projects, is required. Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is essential. Previous experience with main contractors is preferred, as well as excellent IT skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also necessary, along with a client-focused approach.
