Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale railway projects, focusing on signal systems, electrification upgrades, and telecom networks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects within the railway sector.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop tailored project plans in accordance with client standards, ensuring clear timelines, allocations, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities, including design management and implementation of modern signaling, electrification, and telecom technologies.
  • Conduct thorough commercial and contract management through regular status meetings with project teams and senior management.
  • Direct interdisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between SET specialists and other projects.
  • Provide technical and contractual support during project rollouts, monitoring project progress in terms of costs, time, and quality.
  • Establish robust Document Control methods and implement comprehensive Cost Management.
  • Develop a Requirements Management Plan and produce a detailed Interface Management Plan.
  • Conduct continual analysis and evaluation of project risks throughout the lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project and program management, specializing in railway signaling, electrification, and telecom projects.
  • IRSE licensed or equivalent experience.
  • Proven capacity to handle complex, large-scale infrastructure projects within the railway sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SET systems, including signaling technologies, electrification infrastructure, and railway telecom networks.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
