Server Infrastructure Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Server Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Galway.


Job Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, configure and manage Windows environments, including Azure and AD.
  2. Lead migration projects for SQL server databases and oversee the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, ensuring security and performance.
  3. Collaborate with end users and third-party suppliers to maintain system stability.
  4. Ensure smooth operations and support team members as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building and migrating Windows Server environments.
  • ICT-related degree or qualification (MCSA/MCSE preferred).
  • Proficiency in Hypervisor Platforms (HyperV), SQL server installations (MSSQL) and firewalls/routers (Cisco, Palo Alto).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and schedules.
