Grocery Retail Leader

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Grocery Retail Leader to lead our busy grocery retail store in Co. Wexford.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with a passion for retail excellence, strong leadership capabilities, and the ambition to drive both team performance and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the store's operations, including convenience store management and customer service
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, conducting regular stock takes
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase profitability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, including the forecourt area, convenience store, and restrooms
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supermarket background at store manager or assistant manager level
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales techniques
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
