Job Title: Site Setting Out Specialist

Job Overview:
  As a crucial member of the construction project team in Dublin, you will play a vital role in the success of our client's building projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the setting out process and ensure that foremen and operatives clearly understand the provided information.

  The successful candidate will possess a third-level qualification in Engineering, with at least 2 years' experience in setting out or site engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, surveying firms, or similar entities. Additionally, excellent communication skills, a good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, and PowerPoint are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  
  1. • Disseminate information from drawings, specifications, etc., to foremen, operatives, subcontractors
      • Conduct tests as directed by your supervisor/line manager in accordance with relevant specifications
      • Coordinate traffic management on site
      • Record all daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in your site diary
      • Monitor and check setting out instruments and testing equipment
      • Optimize profit through day-to-day actions: self-management, accuracy in work, elimination of re-work


Ideal Candidate Profile:
  We seek a motivated and experienced Site Setting Out Engineer who can develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel and conduct their work in a safe manner – correct and report those who do not.
