About the Role

This position involves conducting specialist diagnostic assessments for Autism and/or ADHD using evidence-based tools. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurodevelopmental assessments, including Autism and ADHD, and excellent communication and language assessment skills.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality support to clients. Opportunities for professional development and training are also available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct specialist diagnostic assessments for Autism and/or ADHD
  • Complete comprehensive communication and language assessments
  • Provide clear and concise reports with meaningful recommendations
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Stay up-to-date with professional development and training opportunities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental assessments (Autism, ADHD)
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and assessment tools
  • Proficiency in communication and language assessment techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • ADOS-2/ADI-R training is a plus (or willingness to train)
