Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Mullingar, Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to take on a key role within our Maintenance Team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for plant facilities and services.

• Perform routine checks and monitoring of plant and equipment operation to ensure optimum performance and compliance with contractual requirements;
• Calibrate and test plant equipment, alarms, and instrumentation according to CMMS, vendor recommendations, and/or contractual requirements;
• Complete planned electrical maintenance as required by CMMS and record completion on CMMS;
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure timely and safe completion of maintenance tasks;
• Respond promptly to plant/equipment failures and perform repairs or replacements as necessary, recording completion on CMMS;
• Solve and troubleshoot electrical problems, applying good working principles;
• Manage appropriate spares to ensure reliability of plant operation;
• Own permit-to-work system, general work permit, LOTO, hot works permit, etc., and use remote monitoring tools like BMS to verify plant condition;
• Be available for response to plant failures outside normal hours in accordance with roster and assist in remote troubleshooting when necessary;
• Make suggestions to improve plant reliability and operational efficiency in conjunction with Team Lead;
• Perform general maintenance duties for plant, services, and WWTP;
• Carry out all duties in accordance with relevant safety procedures, documentation, and training;
