Our hospital has a certificate of registration with the Mental Health Commission as an Approved Centre in compliance with the Mental Health Act.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our adult and later life mental health services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and contributing to the review and development of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to the review and development of our services
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Registration on the General and Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners
- Possession of the MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
- Seven years satisfactory postgraduate training and experience in the medical profession
- A satisfactory knowledge of the administration of psychiatric services
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
