Lead Fertility Consultant Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our team and delivering high-quality fertility services.

This is a full-time position that requires an experienced professional with a thorough understanding of all aspects of fertility medicine.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire and motivate their team, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care and achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient care from consultation to treatment completion, adhering to established protocols
  • Lead the team by setting high standards and motivating them to provide excellent patient care
  • Make informed clinical decisions regarding patient treatment, drug regimens, and procedure timing, collaborating closely with medical, nursing, and scientific colleagues
  • Perform egg collection and embryo transfer procedures safely and effectively
  • Maintain accurate and clear medical records at all times, adhering to clinical protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of services at the clinic
  • Support heads of departments with operational activities and provide guidance to clinical, scientific, and administrative staff
Essential Qualifications:
  • Fully registered with the Irish Medical Council, with eligibility for Specialist Register inclusion
  • Higher Diploma (Fellowship or Membership) of Specialty College MRCOG or equivalent
  • Proven experience in Reproductive Medicine/Fertility
  • Valid Right to Work in the Republic of Ireland
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
  • Subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine
  • Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery and ART skills
  • Understanding of EU and national legislation
  • Appropriate level of managerial experience
