At CPL, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a Children Residential Care Organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Centre Manager in the operational and strategic management of our residential care services.

About the Role

The Deputy Manager plays a pivotal role in the Centre, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of care services to young people aged 13-17. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in social care or nursing to take on a leadership position and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Providing guidance and support to centre staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Policymaking and Governance: Collaborating with the Centre Manager to develop and implement policies that ensure the highest standards of care and wellbeing for our residents.
  • Care and Wellbeing: Overseeing the provision of care and support services to meet the needs of each resident, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection: Ensuring the safety and protection of all residents, adhering to best practice guidelines and legislation.
  • Professional Development: Supporting staff development through training and mentorship, promoting career progression and growth.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitoring and evaluating centre operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
