Occupational Health Nurse

The Occupational Health Nurse plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of staff in a hospital setting. This individual is responsible for providing occupational health services to employees, collaborating with existing teams to promote a healthy work environment, and evaluating and managing workplace injuries and illnesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational health services to employees including health assessments, screenings, and education on workplace hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a healthy work environment.
  • Evaluate and manage workplace injuries and illnesses by conducting investigations, developing return-to-work plans, and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified RGN on the NMBI register
  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Health
  • Experience in an Occupational Health role
