We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Regulatory Expert to join our team as Head of Payment Advisory Compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the bank's payment services comply with relevant regulations and legislation.

**Key Responsibilities**

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a compliance role within financial services, preferably with a credit institution or payments services provider. They will possess knowledge of key compliance and regulatory topics, a history of practical application of compliance risk management practices, and a proven track record of delivering outcomes to a professional standard.

Responsibilities include:

  • Senior compliance lead for U.S. Bank Europe Payment Services business
  • Primary subject matter expert to the First Line of Defence on the application of relevant local and EU regulation
  • Provides subject matter expertise to the First Line of Defence on the application of relevant local and EU regulation
  • Primary day-to-day contact point for business line queries
  • Owning the completion of compliance assessments to a professional standard

**Skills and Qualifications**

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, a strong emphasis on prioritization, communication, and delivery. They will also demonstrate experience in managing different stakeholders across first and second lines of defence, strong oral and written communication skills, and a collaborative approach with a focus on delivery and execution.
