Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled truck technician to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have completed a recognized mechanical apprenticeship and possess strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul transmission, axle, and driveline products
  • Maintain, repair, and service heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and passenger service vehicles (PSVs)
  • Diagnose and repair chassis issues both in-house and off-site
  • Work to OEM standard guide times
  • Adhere to correct working procedures
  • Complete job-related paperwork according to company procedures
  • Participate in training and development programs as required
  • Undertake additional duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • Completed recognized mechanical apprenticeship
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in electrics and computer-based diagnostics work (desirable)
  • Full clean driving license
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team
  • Reliable and able to travel throughout Ireland, including Northern Ireland
  • Previous experience on HGVs, PSVs, and O/H chassis (advantageous)
  • HGV/PSV license (an advantage)
