We have an exciting opportunity to join our well-established CAMHS service in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. If you are a forward-thinking, compassionate Occupational Therapist looking to join a supportive and friendly CAMHS team, this may be the opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will work as part of a CAMHS Multidisciplinary Team, providing services at clinical bases and within clients' homes, as well as a range of other settings as appropriate. The OT will carry a complex caseload and complete occupational therapy-specific assessments and interventions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with team members to provide services to clients
  • Manage own caseload and assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programs for service users according to service standards
  • Participate in integrated discharge planning process in line with HSE Code of Practice
  • Responsible for day-to-day running of designated service area(s) by supervising staff, prioritizing, and allocating work, promoting positive staff morale, and team working in conjunction with the Occupational Therapist Manager

Requirements:

  • BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Full CORU registration
  • Three years full-time post-qualification clinical experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Collaborates well with others
