Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team in supporting the financial operations of a global leader based in Belfast. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects and contribute to the company's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounting or financial analysis, with strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.

In addition to processing and allocating invoices, analyzing invoices for due dates, and solving supplier account queries, the successful candidate will also take investigative action to verify and agree supplier balances. They will interpret current VAT rules for foreign currency invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and allocate invoices to relevant accounts
  • Analyze invoices for due dates and select those to be paid within credit terms
  • Solve supplier account queries and investigate discrepancies

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in accounting or financial analysis is essential for this role. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices is also required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.

A detail-orientated individual with excellent communication skills is desired. The ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure is also important.
