Job Title: Relief Staff Nurse - Children's Services
Job OverviewThis role is responsible for delivering safe, person-centered care to children in need. As a relief staff nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical support and promote nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and practice nursing according to the Professional Code of Conduct, Clinical Guidelines, Local policies, protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure all work is user-focused and upholds principles of respect, privacy, dignity, fulfillment, independence and choice.
- Promote and maintain nursing standards of person-centered care, including normalization and quality of life issues.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in a healthcare setting.
- Registration with An Bord Altranais and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of Person-Centred Planning and working with key workers to develop care plans.
- Experience in HIQA notifications; completing incident/accident reports/investigations as per State Claims Agency requirements.
In addition, you should possess excellent planning and organizing skills, including resource management and value for money.
