Schedule Manager

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for logistics?

We are seeking an experienced Schedule Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and executing effective transport and delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of systems and administration, with the ability to prioritize, schedule, and think logically. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience working in a dispatch office or customer service environment is a plus.

In this role, you will liaise with production, drivers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries and advise on any delays. Your responsibilities will include:

* Planning the most effective daily transport and delivery schedules
* Processing orders received via phone, email, fax, face-to-face, or through the sales team
* Preparing delivery dockets, scheduling, and allocating drivers to deliveries

You will be responsible for ensuring all customer orders are delivered within the agreed timeframe and maintaining daily shipping records. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain all relevant paperwork for payment transactions and ensure ongoing effective communication with drivers, customers, production, and sales.
