**About This Role**

Hunter Savage is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of technical design solutions for a range of customers.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical design expertise and supporting the growth of the company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation
  • Improve existing designs
  • Produce Bill of Materials and update documentation
  • Conduct 3D models and detailed drawings
  • Design modifications to ensure continuous improvement of existing products
  • Design a range of heavy manufacturing equipment
  • Interact with customers, support supply chain and production

Requirements

  • Degree educated in a relevant engineering-related subject
  • Minimum of 2 years' design experience, gained within a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of CREO, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
