**Job Description:**

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered General Nurse to join our team at Bon Secours Hospital Limerick. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care to individuals undergoing procedures and medical interventions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care nursing, with a minimum of 1 year's post-registration experience. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality patient-centered care to individuals undergoing procedures and medical interventions
  2. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
  3. Provide safe pre-operative and post-operative care for patients from admission to discharge
  4. Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they are fully informed about their treatment and addressing any concerns they may have

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI]
  • At least 1 year's post-registration experience in acute care nursing
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in specialist areas
  • Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
  • Competence with venepuncture and IV Cannulation for specialist areas (desirable)
