The Role
We are currently seeking a Regional Accountant to join our West Regional Office Team in Ozanam House. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional accounting services, financial analysis, planning, forecasting, budgetary control, management accounting, and financial reporting to support our strategic objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of Ireland's largest voluntary organisations and make a positive impact in your community.

Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified with a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
- +3 years post-qualification experience is essential.
- Experience of annual audit, audit pre-work, and annual reporting is essential.
- Excellent IT skills, including finance software (Sage or similar), MS Office, and advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Knowledge of audit, statutory accounts, management accounts, internal control, and process analysis is essential.
- Knowledge of financial policies and GAAP/SORP application is essential.

Desired but Not Essential
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience is desirable.
- Experience in analysing trends and KPIs is desirable.
- Knowledge of commercial/retail business operations best practice, procedures, internal controls, reporting, and analytics is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience with large entity financial accounting systems is desirable.
