We are seeking a proactive and reliable individual to join our team as a General Operative/Forklift Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

  • Loading and unloading rolls of carpet using a counterbalance boom forklift
  • Route planning using computer system
  • Scheduling deliveries in and out
  • Communicating with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors via phone and email
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Maintaining forklifts
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
  • Operating a carpet cutting machine
  • Occasionally stepping in as a relief van driver

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and experience with forklift operation.
