We're looking for talented individuals to join our teams in Financial Lines, Casualty, and Property as Underwriting Analysts. As an Underwriting Analyst, you'll be responsible for handling new business and reviewing and renewing existing books of business.

  • Underwrite within agreed decision-making standards, limitations, and underwriting authority;
  • Handle mid-term adjustments within agreed authority;
  • Resolve general queries in a timely manner and within agreed authority;
  • Maintain and produce internal reports;
  • Provide booking and accounts query support;
  • Support the Underwriters on more complex and/or non-standard cases within agreed authority;
  • Obtain additional UW information from brokers/clients as may be required on new business or renewal submissions;
  • Produce documentation within company guidelines;
  • Work to improve customer experience within agreed internal/external Service Level Agreements;
  • Comply with regulatory, risk management, compliance, and audit requirements;
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, claims, and Operations.

You will work closely with experienced underwriters to develop your skills and knowledge. We offer a comprehensive training program that includes experiential learning, technical training, performance assessments, formalized mentoring, and exposure to senior leaders.

We seek candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.
