About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Associate, Global Scientific Communications. This role involves providing leadership and guidance in producing high-quality documents for regulatory submissions and publication deliverables.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of error-free documents that meet international standards of written English. This includes correcting errors in grammar, style, formatting, and syntax, identifying and fixing flaws in logic and flow, and following style guides/templates provided by the team.

The role also involves collaborating with global counterparts, tracking document metrics across groups, and maintaining proficiency in applicable software, tools, processes, and workflows.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing editorial and project management support for planning, editing, quality reviews, and timely submission of regulatory documents.
  • Managing Datavision, supporting encore efforts across therapy areas, functions, and regions.
  • Conducting literature searches, obtaining and processing copyright transfer and authorship agreements.
  • Verifying data and references for accuracy, creating figures and diagrams, writing cover letters to journal editors.
  • Coordinating and/or conducting translation and/or validation, ensuring all steps of the submission process are executed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years' relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
  • Specialized knowledge of editing and proofreading techniques, high-level attention to detail, and superior English-language skills.
  • Strong customer focus, accountable for achieving timelines by managing activities efficiently and proactively.
