Job Description:

The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across various industries, providing accountancy services including review of financial statements, advising on systems of financial control, and assisting with the implementation of new accounting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing accountancy services and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Review and advise on financial statements, including management accounts and statutory accounts.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting solutions, driving the firm's technology strategy.
  • Participate in team meetings, coaching, mentoring, and appraisal of staff.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification with minimum 7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Minimum 5 years+ relevant post-qualified work experience in practice, with strong technical knowledge and financial/management accounts experience.
  • Proven management skills and behaviors, excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A strong market/commercial awareness, working knowledge of accounting software packages.
  • Ability to use AI-based accounting software, tools, and connected app functionality.
