
Senior Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance Professional

The role of a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician involves performing routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and plant equipment. This includes diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. You will also accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and maintenance records.
Collaboration with workshop colleagues and parts suppliers is essential to ensure efficient turnaround of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a qualified HGV Mechanic / Technician certification (time-served or equivalent).
Key qualifications include experience working with heavy vehicles, plant, or specialist equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
