Job Summary
Datapac seeks a Technical Services Support Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin. This 3-month contract role has the potential for a permanent position and offers opportunities for professional development in technical support and hardware engineering. The successful candidate will work alongside senior engineers to set up and deploy print and personal computing hardware for customer projects.

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Hardware Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair IT hardware (laptops, printers, PCs, and servers) within the workshop.
• Stock & Equipment Management: Assist in maintaining workshop stock levels and preparing parts for field service calls.
• Device Configuration & Pre-Staging: Complete imaging, memory upgrades, and hardware modifications before customer deployment.
• Installation Support: Work alongside senior engineers to set up and deploy print and personal computing hardware for customer projects.
• Onsite Technical Support: Provide hands-on support for Managed Print Services (MPS), troubleshooting print-related issues at customer sites.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine servicing of customer devices, including replacing consumables and performing diagnostic checks.

Requirements
We require a motivated junior IT professional with technical certifications (HP Print & Personal Computing desirable). Experience or knowledge of Print Fleet Management & MPS software is advantageous, but not essential. You should have a full manual transmission driving license and a strong interest in IT hardware and technical problem-solving.
