This role reports to the Senior Global Tax Planning Director and serves as the tax general manager for the Ireland site. The successful candidate will be responsible for all tax planning and taxing authority interactions, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role:
This position represents the company during tax audits and advises management on business-related tax matters. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to partner with the business operationally and technically on all existing and new commercial transactions and go-to-market strategies to mitigate adverse tax impacts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Representing the company during tax audits and advising management on business-related tax matters
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and communicating and managing the introduction of these changes throughout the business
- Partnership with the business operationally and technically on all existing and new commercial transactions and go-to-market strategies
- Working with the company's accounting firm to prepare and review Ireland's tax filings
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience at a multinational corporation and/or public accounting firm. A university degree, advanced degree or professional qualification in tax, law or accounting is preferred. Experience with tax provision requirements for SEC registered organizations and local corporate tax compliance is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work well with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
