Job Description

As a Civil Engineer with this organisation, you will be responsible for planning and executing critical road infrastructure works. You will support the site and project management team to ensure that all works meet stringent requirements.

This role is ideal for individuals who can interpret drawings, specifications, and construction details effectively. A strong ability to liaise with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of road improvement works, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections, surveys, and supervise daily activities to ensure high standards.
  • Interpret and apply technical knowledge of civil engineering and roadworks to provide innovative solutions.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external parties to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and relevant industry standards.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 25 years of experience in a similar civil engineering role, preferably with road or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of current standards and regulations in civil engineering and roadworks.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other relevant design software is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
  • A clean driving license is required.
