This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Automotive Maintenance Apprentice to join our team in Ireland. As a MAMF Apprentice, you will be enrolled on a 7-phase standards-based apprenticeship program facilitated through SOLAS, the Institutes of Technology, and our company.
Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production and mechanical process devices and controls systems.
- Support the qualified MAMF maintenance technician in the provision of effective technical support to Production in all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance.
- Installation, modification, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical process devices and controls systems.
- Active participation in repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and system failure investigations.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with operational procedures and training materials.
- Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture.
- A minimum of Grade B3 in PASS Math's and a minimum Grade D/O6 in four other subjects in the Leaving Certificate Exam or an approved equivalent.
- Achieves the required level of Aptitude Testing.
- Understanding of some mechanical/electrical/Instrumentation/pneumatic principles.
- Report writing skills required.
- Computer literacy required.
