Job Opportunity:

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Aggregate Risk Manager. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, analytical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role:

This key member role requires strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive enterprise-wide risk frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing critical components of our stress testing framework, including defining risk appetite, designing and implementing risk methodologies, and leading oversight processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing critical components of our stress testing framework
  • Defining risk appetite and designing risk methodologies
  • Leading enterprise-wide risk frameworks, encompassing stress testing, scenario design, risk identification, and oversight of capital adequacy processes
  • Formulating regulatory responses during supervisory reviews
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in the EMEA region and globally within the organization

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of stress testing and familiarity with UK or EU regulatory requirements and guidance around stress testing and ICAAP
  • Experience in a related role or one which provides transferable skills within a financial institution, consultancy practice, regulatory body, or rating agency
  • Academic background in a quantitative discipline, with an understanding of macroeconomics and risk management
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, or similar
