Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional to help shape and grow a brand-new service line within a digital transformation consultancy. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of Business Central delivery in Ireland.

  • Lead client workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions across finance, operations, and supply chain modules.
  • Deliver functional design documents, test plans, and user training.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Business Central engagements with clients.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including scoping and proposal development.
  • Identify opportunities for service line improvement, innovation, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional Expertise: Minimum 5 years' experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) in a functional capacity.
  • Implementation Experience: Proven experience in delivering full lifecycle Business Central implementations.
  • Module Understanding: Strong understanding of core modules including Finance, Inventory, Projects, and Manufacturing.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client-facing and communication skills with the ability to lead discovery sessions and articulate business benefits.
  • Autonomy and Travel: Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a startup-style team within a larger business, and willingness to travel.
