Job Title: Aviation Sensor Specialist

Our organisation is a leading provider of aviation services, and we are seeking an experienced Systems Operator (SO) to join our team. As an Aviation Sensor Specialist, you will be responsible for managing sensors and mission equipment to ensure optimal positioning of the aircraft and sensors to achieve the task. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and defect solving, as well as co-ordination with other agencies over various communication methods.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as experience gained within a surveillance setting. EO, IR Comms and/or Radar sensor experience is highly desirable, and military/police/coastguard background is preferred but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sensors and mission equipment to achieve optimal positioning of the aircraft and sensors
  • Troubleshoot and solve defects
  • Co-ordinate with other agencies over various communication methods
  • Work effectively as part of a team

Requirements:

  • EO, IR Comms and/or Radar sensor experience
  • Experience gained within a surveillance setting
  • Military/police/coastguard background preferred but not necessary
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
