About the Role

Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is a leading indigenous consultancy specialising in sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, environment, energy and renewables. We are seeking to hire a Senior Energy Engineer to join our energy team in Cork, Dublin or Carlow office.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our energy and planning division, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

This role provides the opportunity to work across a wide range of activities within the energy and planning sector, including project management, environmental assessments and preliminary design for renewable energy developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects in line with agreed timelines, quality standards and specifications
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of CAD design documentation, collaborating closely with project engineers and engineering technicians
  • Participate in on-site meetings with clients and other project stakeholders
  • Maintain adherence to internal quality assurance and management systems
  • Ensure activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • A degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience
  • Chartered engineer status
  • Experience in managing the preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects is advantageous but not essential
