Senior Construction Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a site manager to join our team in a consistently busy contractor specializing in public and private contracts in the commercial sector projects across the South West.
This is a permanent position with a strong pipeline of work. The ideal candidate will have an all-rounded background in commercial construction, bringing structures out of the ground and through all fit-out stages.
The role involves coordination and supervision of the construction of new builds and fit-outs, overseeing all site activities, managing manpower on site, hosting meetings with architects, design teams, and senior management, and updating the site diary.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordination and supervision of construction projects
- Overseeing site activities and managing manpower
- Hosting meetings with stakeholders
- Updating the site diary
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Ensuring quality of works and timely completion
- Planning and coordinating daily site requirements
- Performing company compliance and administration procedures
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management or similar trades qualifications
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Site Manager/Foreman
- Preference for someone with a carpentry/joinery background
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Suite and Project
