Job Description

The Chief Pilot will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our flight department, ensuring that all flights are conducted safely and efficiently. This includes preparing and maintaining proficiency records, submitting reports to the FAA, and advising personnel on training and standardization.

Responsibilities

  • Flight Operations Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of flight operations to ensure compliance with company policies and FAA regulations.
  • Pilot Scheduling: Schedule flight crews to meet the needs of the operation while ensuring adequate rest periods and minimizing overtime.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training programs for pilots, including recurrent training, type ratings, and line orientation.
  • Aircraft Maintenance: Ensure that all aircraft are properly maintained and serviced, including completion of pre-flight inspections and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • A valid ATP certificate.
