Systems Development Team Overview

The Systems Development team manages software services and platforms that operate, monitor, and assure the AWS network within isolated regions. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in software development, systems engineering, SRE or DevOps roles
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
  • Practical understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (host networking, storage, *nix operating systems)
  • Demonstrable experience programming with modern languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, Golang, Ruby
