Junior EHS Advisor Job Opportunity

This role is an exciting chance to join a dynamic team and contribute to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of personnel on site.

The Junior EHS Advisor will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe working environment by supporting the on-site EHS function. Key responsibilities include:

  • Compliance Support: Collaborate with the project manager and site teams to guarantee that all relevant regulations and company systems are met.
  • Risk Assessments and Method Statements: Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permits to work.
  • Site Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and audits, escalating any issues to senior EHS staff.
  • Training and Development: Participate in site inductions, ensure all team members meet required training standards, and help maintain the project's training matrix.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Qualifications: A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in an EHS role in a construction environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a working knowledge of current EHS legislation and good practice standards.
