Lead Designer for Advanced Microprocessor Solutions

We are seeking a seasoned design leader with expertise in microprocessor design and techniques.

You will be meticulous about power, performance, and area while balancing business needs.

This role will challenge you to lead the design team in creating new solutions for advanced microprocessors.

Responsibilities:
  • Primary technical contact for your focus area
  • Pro-actively work with peers in technology and design reviews
  • Quantify impacts of technology issues in design reviews
  • Represent the CPU Cores to executive management from a technical perspective
  • Work cross functionally across CPU Cores teams to identify and assess complex technical issues/risks, and develop solutions
  • Work closely with Design teams for Area and Floorplan refinement, Timing targets, Power targets
Qualifications and Experience:
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated through technical publications, presentations, trainings, executive briefing, etc.
  • You are highly adept at collaboration among top-thinkers and engineers alike, ready to mentor and guide, and help to elevate the knowledge and skills of the team around you
  • You are experienced in leading teams of senior engineers
