Job Title: General Surgeon ConsultantDublin and other locations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including appendectomies, hernia repairs, and gallbladder removals.
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients before and after surgery.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and perform emergency surgeries as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Teach and mentor junior medical staff and students.
  • Participate in audits, research, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • Active registration with the Medical Council of Ireland (MCI).
  • Fellowship or equivalent qualification in General Surgery.
  • Significant experience in performing a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
