Job Title: Temporary Store Operative

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Temporary Store Operative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving deliveries, allocating goods, conducting stock checks, and ensuring accuracy in our store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving Deliveries: Receive and log incoming deliveries accurately using our computer systems.
  2. Allocating Goods: Organize items onto the correct shelves or allocate them to personnel based on order types.
  3. Stock Checking: Conduct regular stock counts following a structured plan and accurately enter stock data into our system.
  4. Ensuring Accuracy: Verify shelf placement matches system records and analyze stock data to rectify any discrepancies.
  5. Team Collaboration: Liaise with team members and management regarding customer feedback, stock availability, and outstanding orders.
  6. Provide constructive feedback to improve store operations.
  7. Operational Efficiency: Identify and suggest potential improvements to enhance efficiency.
  8. Health and Safety: Adhere to site health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Support and Flexibility: Assist with additional duties as required by the line manager to meet business needs and support customer satisfaction.
