Home Care Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide person-centred care to older people and their families in our community.

Job Description:

As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality home care services that meet the individual needs of service users. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized support and care to clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional home care services, prioritizing the well-being and dignity of service users.
  • Develop strong relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Full clean driver's license and use of your own car for work-related purposes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • QQI Level 5 Healthcare Modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
  • Desirable QQI Level 5 Full Healthcare Award, including above modules.
  • One year paid experience in a similar caring role.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of €14.70.
  • Half-hour and premium rates for Sundays and Bank Holidays.
  • Mileage/travel time compensation at 30 cent per km plus fortnightly travel time payment.
