Lead Highway Maintenance Projects with Excellence

We require a highly skilled Civil Engineer to oversee our highway maintenance projects in Ireland. As a leader in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, and complying with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct site setting-out and supervise activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage teams, subcontractors, and resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project proposals and budget estimates, considering legislative requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records.
  • Enforce quality control measures and monitor subcontractor performance.
  • Represent the organization at stakeholder meetings and client engagements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
  • Significant experience in Civil Engineering, Road Maintenance, or Highway Projects.
  • Expert knowledge of TII Standards, Traffic Management, and Infrastructure Regulations.
  • Outstanding project management and budgeting skills.
  • Exceptional communication, planning, and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and a full driving license.
