Conference & Banqueting Porter Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Conference & Banqueting Porter to join our team. If you have an eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for IT, then this is the ideal role for you.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Events Set Up and Clean Up: Prepare conference rooms and event spaces to a high standard.
  • Technical Support: Assist guests with setting up IT equipment, sound systems, and AV equipment, ensuring all technology runs smoothly.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide excellent customer service, including assisting guests with their luggage and answering any queries they may have.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Tidiness: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of event spaces and public areas.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Availability to work up to 5 days per week, midweek and weekends, all year round is required.
  • Customer focus with an eye for detail is crucial.
  • Proficiency with IT and previous experience are necessary.
