Practice Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Management Accounting and be proficient in various accounting software programs.

About the Role

The Practice Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts. They will also assist clients in establishing financial control systems and ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly/quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts.
  • Client Support: Provide guidance to clients on financial control systems and ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting software programs and provide recommendations to clients on suitable packages and tools.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 Years Local Practice experience.
  • Skills: Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.
