Job Overview

A leading Irish SaaS company seeks a highly skilled IT leader to take ownership of designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.

The successful candidate will lead the design process across complex, greenfield projects, giving full autonomy to shape solutions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop enterprise software solutions with a strong focus on scalability and high availability.
  • Define and implement technology roadmaps, ensuring maintainability and security of solutions.
  • Guide engineering teams in best practices for software development, DevOps, and cloud architecture.
  • Drive the development of robust, scalable, and secure software products using modern technologies.
  • Design and optimize cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS, leveraging services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Collaborate with front-end teams to develop scalable web applications.
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability using Entity Framework (EF), SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
  • Incorporate BI and analytics solutions to enhance product insights and decision-making.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in an architectural or lead role.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Azure Portal.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and domain-driven design (DDD).
  • Experience with API management, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
